This is an open call to all architecture lovers, to sign up for the “History of Architecture” seminar, to be immersed in different historic eras and meditate the relation between different civilizations and their architectural production. The objective of the program is to research the reasons behind the builder’s/architect’s choices during their creation of forms up to reviewing the architect’s practice today.
“Kawamen” comes from the Arabic word “Kamen”, which signifies what is innate, and potentials that can make a big difference once revealed through dialogue and new methodologies.

حلقة دراسية حول تاريخ العِمارة، تطور أنظمة البناء وتاريخ الفكر التابع لمختلف الحقبات المعمارية
دعوة إلى كل مهتم بالعِمارة، للتسجيل بالحلقة الدراسية “كوامن تاريخ العِمارة” للخوض بمختلف الحقبات المعمارية والعلاقة بين مقومات الحضارات الرئيسية ونتاجها المِعماري. هدف البرنامج هو البحث بالأسباب والظروف التي تدفع البَناء أو المِعمار إلى تشييد الأشكال وصولاً إلى مراجعة المِعمار اليوم حول أسس التصميم المعاصر.
«كوامن» من «كامن» وهو المتضمن. الكوامن هي التي تصنع الفرق الكبير ما إن يتم كشفها من خلال الحوار والمنهجيات الجديدة. ملتقى كوامن هي مجتمع من الفضوليين الحضريين المهتمين بمستقبل المدينة وبالأساليب المبتكرة للبحث، التخطيط والتصميم.
