Mohammad and Mahera Abu Ghazaleh Foundation

The Abu Ghazaleh Collection reflects the family’s belief that art offers a positive, open, opportunity to learn. It supports their passion for sharing education with others and is the first private collection featuring Western as well as Mid Eastern and Arab art to be publicly exhibited in Jordan. The collection focusses on art concerned with the human condition and social change and advocates a dialogue between artists from different cultural backgrounds and generations. MMAG Foundation, inspired by the Abu Ghazaleh Collection, aims to make culture accessible to the broadest public. It will include a free art school and permanent gallery spaces in Amman, Jordan, together with a public art education program. Through global philanthropic initiatives the institution already supports curatorial posts, exhibitions and educational programs. It seeks to inspire critical thinking whilst challenging the preconceptions, or perceived boundaries, that limit artistic exploration
