Mission statement (en):
Al-Balad Theatre aims to (1) provide new performance spaces for various contemporary arts (theatre, dance, cinema, music, visual arts) to host Jordanian, Arab, and international artists. (2) Develop the relationship with the community through the establishment of a multi-purpose cultural center. (3) Provide spaces for rehearsals and workshops for young artists.(3) Open new channels of communication and cooperation with various art organizations in the Arab world and abroad through the presentation of performances from different countries all year round. (4) Provide a space for young artists to present their artistic work and experimentation in the field of theatre, dance, and music. (5) Provide specialized programs for children.
Mission statement (ar):
أهداف مسرح البلد (١) توفير أماكن عرض جديدة للفنون العرض المختلفة (مسرح ، سينما ، رقص ، موسيقى ، فنون تشكيلية) لفنانين أردنيين وعرب وأجانب. (٢) تطوير العلاقة مع المجتمع المحلي من خلال مركز ثقافي متعدد الأغراض يعمل على لإيجاد دوائر حوار وعلاقات جديدة. (٣) توفير أماكن للتدريب وورش العمل للفنانين الشباب. (٤) فتح قنوات ثقافية مع المؤسسات الفنية المختلفة في الوطن العربي وفي العالم ، من خلال تقديم الأنشطة الثقافية المختلفة من تلك البلدان في المجمع الثقافي ضمن برامج وأسابيع على مدار السنة. (٥) إيجاد مساحات عمل للفنانين الشباب يستطيعون من خلالها تقديم أعمالهم وتجاربهم المختلفة في مجال المسرح والرقص والموسيقى. (٦) تقديم برامج متخصصة للأطفال.
